Kohnke's Own Energy Gold 5L
Energy Gold is formulated to provide a highly palatable source of Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9 polyunsaturated and saturated fatty acids to correct low or inadequate levels in common grain and hay based diets. A balanced ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 is essential for optimum cell membrane function, as well as ensure natural body anti-inflammatory and hormone synthesis.
Energy Gold also contains 3000iu/litre of Vitamin E to assist fatty acid utilisation and muscle metabolism when given as an energy supplement. Garlic oil is included to ensure acceptance, increasing the overall palatability of the feed.
Energy Gold can be given as a source of added "cool" energy to racing and equestrian diets, provide an Omega fatty acid supplement and for optimum coat condition in all horses.
Directions for Use:
As a "Cool Energy" Source:
- Add 125 - 250ml daily to the feed.
- Commence in a step-wise manner over 14 days, increasing the amount fed by 30mL every 3 days. It may take up to 6-8 weeks for a horse's digestive system and metabolic processes to adapt to a higher level of fat in the feed as an energy source during exercise.
As an Omega Oil Supplement:
- Add 12 - 15mL for each 100kg bodyweight daily to the feed.
As a Coat Conditioner:
- Add 15mL for each 100kg bodyweight daily to the feed.
Ingredients: Cold pressed raw canola oil, degummed sunflower oil, dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate oil, equivalent to Vitamin E 3000iu/L, aromatic garlic oil.
